Utah County Jail Roster Records
The official Utah County inmate records tool is the Utah County Arrested Person Search. It is a Sheriff Mike Smith office roster, not a third-party commercial index. The public page supports search by name, search by arrested date, browsing current tracked inmates, and viewing inmate statistics. An enhanced login button exists, but basic public roster search and inmate profile viewing do not require a login.
The roster should be read as a booking-history and custody-status tool. Utah County's current tracked list can include more than people physically in a jail cell because the sheriff's own status legend includes active custody, work diversion, GPS/electronic monitoring, 24/7 alcohol monitoring, release, refusal for medical condition, transfer, and walkaway status. Use Utah County Inmate Roster
A new arrest may not appear at once. Utah County says booking information is available 24 hours after a person has been booked. If a name search fails soon after an arrest, wait for that delay, search by arrested date, browse current tracked inmates, and then call booking or jail information if the status is urgent.
- Open the Utah County Arrested Person Search and choose name, arrested date, or Current Inmates.
- For a name search, enter as much of the name as possible. The sheriff's example uses a last-name-first format such as ADAMS, B.
- For an arrested-date search, use the date field. The page formats the date as MM-DD-YYYY.
- Review the result row for name, year of birth, date in, ID, and status. Use the result-page search box to narrow a long list.
- Click the name link to open the booking profile. The detail page loads the selected booking ID from the result.
- If no county record appears, use the phone, GRAMA, court, UDC, VINELink, BOP, ICE, and USMS fallback channels described below.
Utah County Roster Search Fields
Utah County's roster gives three public paths before the profile screen: name search, arrested-date search, and current tracked inmates. The current-inmate results page uses a DataTables filter after results load, which narrows displayed rows but does not replace the first roster query.

Use the current list to browse active tracked statuses, then open the profile because charges, bail, arresting agency, and full booking detail are not all shown in the first result table.
Utah County Inmate Profile Fields
A Utah County inmate record profile can show identity, booking, release, physical descriptor, charge, court, case, and bail data. It does not show every field people often expect. The visible public profile uses year of birth rather than full date of birth. Housing unit, pod, cell block, projected release date, and court date were not visible in the inspected public profile fields. The Booking Bureau also says it does not give out court dates, so court dates should be checked with the court of jurisdiction.

Utah County Booking Record Timing
Utah County's Booking Bureau is the intake point for arrests, warrants, commitments, holds, releases, and detainee records. It works with justice and district courts, police agencies throughout Utah, the Utah State Prison, and federal agencies. The bureau maintains criminal charges, warrants, commitments, holds, and detainees for a jail population described by the booking page as about 800 prisoners, with more than 200 cases handled daily.
The booking path starts when an arresting agency brings a person to the jail or when a person reports for a court commitment. Booking records the charges, warrants, holds, and detainee status. Medical intake follows, with a registered nurse screening allergies, injuries, medications, mental health issues, substance abuse, and infectious disease, including tuberculosis. Classification personnel then determine housing level and assignment, generally within 3 to 5 days from incarceration.
Important: A Utah County booking may not appear online until 24 hours after booking, even when the person is already in custody.
Utah County Inmate Record Channels
The roster is the first path for most Utah County inmate records, but it is not the only official channel. If the online search fails, use a chain that matches the type of custody. County jail staff can confirm local booking questions, the records process handles older or non-posted sheriff records, Xchange handles formal court cases, UDC handles state supervision, and federal systems handle federal or immigration custody.

Utah County State Federal Lookups
County jail records cover local bookings and jail statuses. They do not cover every sentenced person, parolee, federal defendant, or immigration detainee. The UDC offender search covers people currently under Utah Department of Corrections supervision and can be searched by name or UDC ID number. UDC specifically warns that awaiting-trial or not-yet-sentenced people housed in county jails will not be listed.

Use UDC for prison, probation, parole, and community-corrections supervision, including Timpanogos Community Treatment Center residents. Use the Utah County roster instead for pretrial jail detainees and recent local bookings.
Federal custody has its own routes. The BOP inmate locator covers federal inmates from 1982 to present. The ICE Online Detainee Locator System uses A-number and country of birth or biographical details for immigration detention. A federal pretrial defendant arrested in Utah County may not appear in BOP until sentenced, so the local jail, USMS District of Utah, court docket, or detention facility may be more useful.
Utah County Jail Facility Records
Utah County's local custody map has two relevant facilities, but only one is the county jail roster facility. The Utah County Jail holds pretrial detainees, sentenced county inmates, commitments, warrants, holds, and detainees tied to courts, police agencies, Utah State Prison, and federal agencies. Timpanogos Community Treatment Center is a state community-corrections facility for male parolees and should be searched through UDC rather than treated as a Utah County Jail roster unit.

Utah County Jail Visitation Records
Roster lookup often leads to visitation, phone, mail, or money questions. Utah County says all personal visits are remote video. Video Connect calls are initiated by the inmate and funded through Securus AdvanceConnect accounts. Jail visiting staff no longer schedule personal visits, and Securus handles the video visits like phone calls.

Utah County Inmate Mail Funds
Utah County mail uses the inmate's first and last name, booking number, Utah County Jail, 3075 North Main, Spanish Fork, Utah 84660. Mail is picked up and delivered Monday through Friday except holidays, must go through USPS, and must include the sender's full name and address. Personal mail is screened. Properly marked privileged mail from attorneys, courts, or public officials is opened and inspected for contraband in the inmate's presence.
Money and communication vendors are split. Securus is for inmate phone and video services. JailATM is for commissary deposits and approved item purchases. Utah County specifically says the Securus website and kiosk cannot be used for commissary deposits, which is a common mistake. JailATM can also be used by phone at 1-866-394-0490 for deposits or basic hygiene and stationery orders.
Note: Confirm custody status with booking before sending money, because release, transfer, holds, or debt can change account use.
Utah County Roster Codes
Utah County publishes code legends that make its inmate records more useful than many roster pages. Status A means active in custody. C is commitment on file, not in custody. D is work diversion, E is GPS or electronic monitor, L is 24/7 alcohol monitoring, O is released, R is refused for medical condition, Y is taken to another facility, and Z is walked away from jail.
Charge and release codes can change how a record should be read. WA means warrant, WBW means bench warrant, CM means commitment, CG means new charge, and NCI means NCIC hit. Release codes include cash bail posted, property bond, bail bond posted, promise to appear, immigration pickup, Utah State Hospital, Utah State Prison, and released to other agency. A single booking may have several charge cards, so one bailable charge does not prove the person can be released if another hold remains.
